The hood moulding is pulled away from the hood on the drivers side pretty badly.  He's asking $249,000

Car is far from perfect but is beautiful. Is it a real 4 speed air? Marti reports help.

It looks like a "gorgeous" car, but that went to crap fast.

So much for "restored to factory original"

This car is one car away from Roland's Gulfstream Aqua GT350 Convertible in Sweden (1204).
His car has white side stripes as does this car.
1205 was for sale in the Marque/Shelby American about 40 years ago. Good memory for an old geezer
like me.

But GSA cars came from SA with GOLD stripes. Just like red cars we see white stripes instead of the factory gold sometimes.

Yes I know Gary knows this that we see white stripes sometimes but no proof of factory install for those GSA and red examples. Most likely a owner preference  during a repaint IMO. I am well aware of what Gary's preference is. ;)  :D

Gary looks good as is, but agree gold is what should be on there and it's also very styling!

Hope the paint stays on if someone tries to change the stripes!

Talked to Roland a few minutes ago and he reminded me the car was red with gold stripes when he bought it in 1981.
Originally, it was owned by a Swedish Rock Singer of Turkish descent who painted it red with painted gold stripes.
Probably the stripe kits weren't available in Sweden
When Roland restored the car, he hand scraped off all the old paint and he is 100% sure the stripes on the
Gulfstream Aqua layer was white. He said he checked and double checked it.

All I can say is that a lot could have happened between 1969 and 1981.

instead of debating you on stripe colors I'll just link you to Pate's site and from documentation he has each car color stripes and only 1 stripe color per car's color.   https://www.thecoralsnake.com/1969paint.html

I found the for-sale ad of #1205 in The Shelby American #58 Asking price was $62500 and I scanned the picture but for some strange reasons I can't post it here. The picture is in black and white, but the stripes look to be white but as Bob said a lot of things may have happened between 1969 and 1980's regarding this car as well.
