Got a kid or grand-kid that loves old cars? If only I were 65 years younger!
(I got most of the knowledge the hard way and from the kindness of people who shared their skills with me but it certainly would've sped up the process had I been able to take a course of study like the one offered above.)

I got my start in the High School auto shop class. I was one of two there in the Plymouth Troubleshooting contest. Yeah, we got it running.

NC Trackrat-
For this of us that can't devote four years, check out the college's web site. They offer one week summer classes on various areas of restoration like Upholstery, electrical, engine, body etc.

Retired from the Fortune 500 in 4/2022 and in 1/2023 enrolled part-time in my local CC Automotive Technology program. I've completed 27 credit hours and once I get my associates degree in early 2026, (I have a Big 10 business degree) they'd like me to teach. Aside from learning a lot and passing a few ASE tests, I've tutored my classmates who are trying to better themselves-very rewarding. I highly recommend those fo you that have an interest to check out their local CC.

WORK ETHIC

i have found many in 'restoration' business do not have any work ethics or even honesty.

Indeed it is, my wife and I support them with scholarship money for kids in this program. And the NCRS Foundation does as well. The best program in the country for this.
