Let's start with our very own JD Ball Ford located at 9000 NW 7 ave Miami Floridaland a provider of many 1965 through 1970 Shelbys
After many transitions it is still successfully being operated as Metro Ford.
Some now and then photos.
Them we have Johnny Bolton Ford located at 1875 South Orlando Avenue in Maitland, Florida. Thet also sold their fair share of Shelbys.
Today it is named Holler Ford.
Some before and after photos.
Tell us do you have any knowledge of any 1960s Ford Shelby Dealerships that are still operating today, possibly under a new ownership and name?
Don't be shy, share what you know!
What about Koons Ford located at 1051 East Broad Street, Falls Church, Virginia.
Another major provider and seller of 1965 through 1970 Shelbys.
Koons Ford still operates at their original 1960s location.
Some before and after photos.
Galpin Ford was a big Shelby dealer. Yes, Galpin is still in business. My GT-500 came from them.

Was it Galpinized?
I always buy my X Plan cars from them. No hassle like some dealers and they give you every additional discount/rebate they can find. One time we got there expecting to write the check for the full amount and he said just give me 10 grand and pay it off with the first payment - I got you an extra $1,000 off for financing. Check their inventory online - call my guy (the GM) give him the VIN show up a couple hours later spend 10-15 minutes signing the papers and we're done.
Ordered my '69 GT-350 from Koon's Ford on February 27, 1969. I was standing on the lot on May 6th at 4:30 in the afternoon when it came in on the truck. Still have it and it's original and unrestored.

Thanks very much for your contribution on finding the remaining more or less TEN Ford Shelby Dealerships still operating today
Here we have the historic Galpin Ford located at 15505 Roscoe Blvd, North Hills, CA 91343

The last 'new' Ford I bought was from Vista Ford, in Woodland Hills. Sorry, but Galpin plays way too many games. My family (and I) did buy from them in the past. I'm sure Beau has made it a better experience since his dad Bert ran the place. My worthless two cents...

Rich thanks for the fantastic information and history on your 1969 GT-350.
Here's some more from Koons
Found this verykool Koons Ford TV commercial
Enjoy

with the talk on Kings lately here are some Koons Koons Ford advertising speaking on how to become a King
Wear that crown proudly only at Koons
S&C Ford is no longer in SF. Believe that property on market street is now apartments. Think they move to South Sf or Daley City.
Here is Archway Motors in Baltimore where my 5S230 was delivered, now just a city social services building......
Speaking about old dealerships made me think of this old commercial about one in south san francisco. Not a Shelby dealership, but this is funny as hell and is a bit R Rated:
Outtake from Ralph Williams Bayshore Chrysler-Plymouth TV commercial (1968). You might have seen this floating around online titled as 'Honest Car Salesman' in grainy low quality, but this version is taken from the original master tape. : r/ObscureMedia https://share.google/seKtbanjcXHLWcYaC

Here in Alberta Calgary's Shelby dealer was Metro Ford. Still operating under the same banner. In Edmonton it was Healy Motors, where my 68 originated. In 1996 it was sold, and the name changed to Sherwood Ford.

Thanks for sharing that phenomenal piece of art.
Love those old commercials nothing like them today.
Today it ALL has to be pleasing and inoffensive to ALL.
Or DEI approved Diversity - Equity - Inclusive. Well you know how that is.
If you played these today most definitely you would offend "someone" and once you offend "someone" the mandatory lame apology must follow.
The apology must be made to the offended party and extended back to everyone in their families going past a minimum of 1,000 YEARS!
I am so sorry.....
Lame very Lame
Again thanks for sharing
There was a Williams Ford in Daly City next to the theater...on Mission Street... in 1964. I bought my used 63 1/2 Falcon Sprint there and later had then upgrade cam, heads, and intake from the Shelby Parts Catalog. Later traded that for my fist Cobra!

Wondering if it's the same Ralph Williams Bay Store?
Anyone know if it is?
If it's the same guy, I think he had Huntington Beach Ford?

Many thanks for your awesome contribution!
Moving on the Gilboy Ford lead
Gilboy Ford was a dealership in Allentown, Pennsylvania, that sold Shelby American vehicles through their dealership.
Gilboy Ford is still operating and is still owned by the same family. The connection between Gilboy Ford and Shelby history comes from the sale of specific Shelby models like this GT350, which was sold new by the dealership
And keepem coming folks !

According to records Metro Ford opened for business in 1962 at 5th Ave and center street.
In 1970 it moved to 9th Ave and 11st SW. Today it is located at 5901 Weaselhead Rd, Tsuut'ina.

Continuing our ultimate search of 1960s Ford Dealerships that sold SHELBYs, we found another local site.
It was the Warren Wooten Ford Dealership in Cocoa Beach Floridaland, that eventually became Paradise and today is Cocoa Ford.
We could not locate any early photos of Warren Wooten Wooten Ford.
We did find this SHELBY
Cobra CSX 2344 was originally delivered to Warren Wooten Ford of Cocoa, Florida, finished in Princess Blue over black leather interior.
It was sold new to Robert Lindauer Sr. on 24 July 1964, who traded in a 1963 Corvette convertible on this Cobra
As more information becomes available we will post updates of this and other early Ford Dealerships that sold SHELBYs
And if you have additional information, feel free to post it right here.
