Bronze powder suspended in a clear matrix originally.

Mr. Gaines is correct regarding the original Hertz gold stripes.  50+ years ago, this powder material was mixed into clear acrylic lacquer to recreate "day one correct" LeMans gold stripes. Few, if any cars are painted with these materials, today.

I kept searching and found this S-W paint. I'll try it. https://www.autobodytoolmart.com/product/sherwin-williams-exact-match-oe-classic-series-shelby-mustang-hertz-gold-pccl28/sherwin-williams-automotive-paint
