So I'm back with another Paxton question. My car (not an original Paxton car) does have a unit dated to 2/10/1967 and according to Dave was installed by a previous owner back in 1980. My question is about the label on it. I believe it should look like the picture posted with the round Cobra logo. When was the CS logo used as found on my unit?
I just found an article about car 2309, a factory Paxton car completed 6 days before mine. It seems to have the same label. It was posted back in 2012 but it says "just experienced a complete ground up restoration by a Mustang Club of America Gold Card Judge".

It looks well done. I don't remember judging it. I see a few things under the hood that got missed.
Hi Brian,
Any and all Paxton questions need to go to Craig Conley. I think you can email questions and within a day get an answer. Urban legend was that a Cobra logo was on a factory part and the CS logo was on a supplied part--Craig will know. Now my question. Are you able to enjoy it? If it is set up properly it should be trouble free and FUN to drive.
Enjoy!!
R.R.
I believe thats what is commonly referred to as the 68 style which would have typically been used on the white heads that started appearing late spring 67. Whether it was ever used on blue head I can't say
