Hi all in SAAC land,
Would like to know if anyone has ever attended a show held in the Pan Pacific during the 1960's or would know of a source of pictures that were from these events. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

We never attended this show back in the 60s a bit to young for us. But it was a fascinating event and times

I went a couple times 64-65ish but didn't take any pix. I went with my dad and a couple of his engineer buddies. They were all aerospace engineers and interested in the cheap slippery Panhard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panhard_24
LA Library has a collection of photos you can search. Looks like they started holding auto shows there in the 30s.

The Pan Pacific was an iconic Art Deco masterpiece with a lot of great history. It fell on hard times when they opened the LA Convention Center. The city wouldn't let them tear it down but a mysterious fire solved that problem. It lives on in the entrance design to Disneyland's CA Adventure.
