I am looking at a few sets of Hertz rims on Saturday for my 66 GT 350 and want to know if the spare was a Hertz rim? Not sure if the condition of these and they may need to be re chromed.
If anyone has rims, they are looking to sell, please let me know as I want to put together a nice set for my car.

For a 66 GT350 the spare should match what is on the car.

In case you are not aware or for those reading the wheels have to be cut apart to be rechromed. If you are thinking that you can short cut the process and rechrome them in one piece you will be disappointed and they will not be show acceptable. The center has to be cut from the rim and rechromed separately. If not the polishing process prior to chroming can not get close enough where the center is welded to the rim and a discoloration of the chrome in that area compared to the surrounding chrome results. I have seen it on a number of occasions. I would have a shop picked out that does that work because not many offer that service anymore. Also the cost for the work of cutting apart, rechroming and welding back together so that they turn true needs to be considered added to the cost of the usable cores . The total amount will be substantial.

Appreciate your response and understand the process and cost would be substantial. I have five rims in decent shape and could use them, but a few have curb rash. I would like to look at any possibly for sale by members in good condition they would consider selling. Just trying to make a nice set as others have done in the past by trading up to nicer condition rims. I would even buy one at a time.
