Has anyone recently had a midland power brake booster (with the band) rebuilt...and, if so, by whom and what was the approximate price and how satisfied were you? It seems the parts to rebuild one have become scarce and the prices to have one rebuilt has increased drammatically.
Alternatively, anyone have any experience with these: https://www.classicindustries.com/product/1968/ford/mustang/parts/pb1114b.html (https://www.classicindustries.com/product/1968/ford/mustang/parts/pb1114b.html)
The price sure is right, and it looks quite accurate excepting the white plastic spacer and the check valve.
I had one rebuilt by Booster Steve at the Power Brake Booster Exchange in Seattle, WA about 6 months ago. They did a nice job.
Had mine done a few months back by PowerBrakeBooster.com... the new Booster Dewey. Looks great, not installed yet. It was around $500 so not inexpensive...

Yup same place. Dewey retired many years ago. Steve is his son. They moved from Portland to Seattle a couple years ago.
another recommendation is to find a truck repair shop in your town
we found one locally and gave them our 1969 booster to be rebuilt.
cost was around $225 about three years ago
Harmon Classic Brakes stocks rebuild parts or rebuilt Midland boosters. I've ordered parts from them and the quality is excellent.
