Title: Caliper Help
Post by: brandosaac on June 16, 2025, 06:49:24 PM
trying to properly identify these 2 different calipers.
caliper on left #56977 in center of small half, K/H unreadable number on big half.
no other numbers or date codes found.

is style on left correct for 65 - 66 and style on right correct for 67 ???

Since you didn't mention which ones you had FYI the 65 to early 67 production used the calipers that utilized the 3/8 hose fitting and the later 67 used the 7/16.

thanks for the replies.
So if I understand them correctly , if it has the re inforcment bar its later 67, and if it doesnt (regardless of numbers on it) its correct for all 65 to early 67 ?.

The reason I ask , I have original 67 rotors , dust shields, caliper brackets , master cylinder and booster and have at least 3 sets of calipers and all the calipers are slightly different from each other, and trying to pick the most correct calipers to make this set up correct.

thank you

At the moment not certain - others have been down this path before but consider that thew company made calipers for T birds, Corvettes and such also during the period.
