On the cars with parchment interior, the metal trim that hides the gaps between the interior panels on a 1967 Shelby, is the color gloss or matte. PO had painted the interior all black and I'm putting it back to parchment. I believe the fiberglass panels have a flat look to them based on the info here on the forum. Fingers crossed I hope to attend SAAC 50...
In the rear the thin metal trim that covers the gap between the upper and lower panels is the same color as the upper and lower panels on a 67
On a black interior car it is Dark Charcoal Metallic
On a Parchment it that specific color. Same paint on panels, doors and those trim pieces.
Both were a semi-gloss finish to reduce reflection. Matte is not a term used very much or at all in the industry during the 60's
Age and sun exposure can effect the look of these panels over time and digital and online pictures are typically terrible at showing details. Add to this the fact that you don't know what the restorer or builder used to paint their specific car with.
