From what I remember, OVC was using original K cars for their builds. Noticed this one is an A code, anyone have info on that? How many total cars have they done?

It sounds like they went the way of the Beverly Hills Mustang built 66 continuation convertibles were supposed to be built from K code cars and original K code engines -not.
:-\
No way this car will bring reserve on BAT...It went unsold at 250k in Mecum. Most would want a real 66 GT350 for that price. I know I would!

I agree. Invoice in the photos says the buyer paid $446,000 to OVC for the car.

$ 446,100.00?!?!
OMG............. ???
BaT has the potential to make that look low
That's crazy almost a half million for a continuation car.bet it doesn't bring $ 150k
I was thinking around 130k-140k, BAT definitely didn't do right by the seller on this. Should of told them right off the "bat" you won't hit reserve
No thanks...I am waiting for the GT350M..... ( Marrieta Version ).... ::) comes with a vintage SA broom
wow I would of thought the 250k at mecum was top dollar. I saw the auction and not really understanding the OVC and thought 90k. I guess I still don't get the OVC connection, just sounds like a continuation car to me, especially being built in 2022, which to me is worth something, 15% but not much more than that.
Info on their website, can draw your own conclusions as to the relevance of the cars:

:D
I'm certain this is not an OVC car. It was built by a friend of mine in the Chicago area, who
sinced passed away, hence the sale back in 2020. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1965-ford-mustang-fastback-55/ The writeup reads like the current owner had the OVC crew put Ken Miles goodies on it.
Anyone find it strange that the invoices do not include the car in questions VIN?
Or that the FIA paperwork is dated 2018?
Bill
From BAT today:
This listing has been withdrawn by BaT because something during this auction was not fair for the buyer and/or the seller. It might be re-listed in a future BaT Auction if this can be corrected and, if so, we will email all watchers of this listing. We apologize for the inconvenience.
BAT realized they dropped the ball here. In the past when listing the car BAT and myself had to agree on a realistic Reserve price...Obviously this didn't happen here.
Back on BAT....

Bidding ended at $135,104 reserve not met. I think this was an OVC car. Set up privately as an R model then sold to someone who intended to bring the car to OVC. One OVC car on YouTube also has that starter box on the drive tunnel and signatures of the OVC guys on the roof.
