What is the purpose of "Alerts" at the top of the page?
it is to Alert people about Shady dealers on the forum or in the business. I am about to post one in a minute so take a look!

In the old days the primary purpose was to alert the SAAC community to a stolen Shelby vehicle.
Oh OK, missing Shelbys is a good idea....as well as other warnings...like bad products?
Alerts just notifies you that a topic you are participating in has been updated with another post or that you were mentioned by someone else.
Flashing yellow Alert is back up and functional
