Title: Cobra intake
Post by: KR500 on December 17, 2024, 11:06:37 AM
As I understand this is a 1965 COBRA on an angle intake with no part number and the firing order on the rear. I have the steel heat riser cover plate as it was removed for cleaning, you will need to attach it. There is no damage or repairs. $2300 plus shipping or best offer. PM or 330-685-5518. Rodney

I agree that they look larger then typical but not overly so or to a detrimental extent IMO.

Yep. I'm pretty sure that intake has been "gasket matched". Been there, done that!

The ironic thing is that it is a significantly better manifold now then new because of that.

The first time through for me, I was really surprised how they were initially cast with the necking down at the head end of the ports. Like what was the intent of that? To use them on 221's? I don't get that at all.
