I dont think they are 10 spokes.
Any care to guess their origin?

Should be no problem to find a 4th wheel to make a set huh??? :-\
Pat
They are 10 spokes.
At some point, someone put them on a mill or lathe and removed the raised portions (ribbing) of the spokes.
Leaving a flat spoke. If someone wanted to make a fourth, it could be done.
Have you seen the "reverse" taper before?
I think we can rule out them being from 1966 or having an "S2" part number?
Don't know that you'll find anything here and there is a lot of info to sift through, but if you're not familiar with it already, this is a great resource.

+1, 66 originals. I've seen a few sets done like this, not sure why anyone would want to do it...
They were 15 inch ?
Looking at photos they do look similar...I-can see it
66 10-spokes are 14-inch. I've found people unfamiliar with wheel dimensions sometimes measure the total OD and quote that, which is 15 inches in this case.
So, Im going with it is...
A modified 1966 rim that has been measured incorrectly
Thank you everyone
My guess is since they have been mutilated, they are next to worthless. Just my opinion, one man's
Since multiple sets have been seen I'd wager they were done by CS's wheel company as an attempt to update wheel styling
to keep selling them - or not........

Not a big deal ether way because they are undesirable regardless but I am of the opinion this was not a CS wheel company variation but modified by someone else.
It would be interesting to see if they would balance.
