Title: Hagerty Drivers Club Magazine Issue #87 Sep-Oct 2024
Post by: JWH on November 10, 2024, 09:48:13 PM
This issue has a story focusing on a 1967 Shelby GT500 and a Lamborghini Muira.

Also, a feature on the history of horsepower with nods to the 289 and 427 Cobras and the 2006 Shelby GT500 cracking the 500 hp boundary.

And last, page 124 features photos of the Daytona Coupe wood buck or splines as the article calls them, used to form the body panels.

I just started getting the magazine... you spotted some of the articles that I've enjoyed as well.
I thought that article "comparing" the Muira and the GT500 was a neat concept and pretty well done.

(it sort of echoed one of my thoughts regarding 1970... at the Simeone Museum they have both the 917 Long Tail and a [street] Superbird... both were 200 mph race cars [from the same year], yet VERY different execution)
