The grill I have installed on my 69 GT350 has the top mounting plate with long threaded studs to attach the wire grill and looks correct. I have an extra grill, but the top mounting plate is spot welded to the wire grill. Was there different version of this grill?
I have an extra top mounting plate with the stud shown in third photo.
Noticed the ends of the top plate are squared off on the welded plate versus the plate with studs has an angled end.
