That is a great modern day alternative to what was used in a 65 R model. I am sure it will cool better then a original. It is fair priced and would be perfect for a tribute R model IMO. It is not however a replica of a R model radiator. Also a R model radiator did not have a oil cooler built in, The top,sides and bottom are different looking compared to a authentic R model radiator. Best of luck on the sale.
