A recap of SAAC 49 by Rick Kopec has been posted - https://www.saac.com/49/SAAC49.pdf?fbclid=IwY2xjawEocypleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHdOkP7RJOmKXjcwYvyoZucDKjrreQ0eoqTXtfR7JMsYbwxLcPMtn0lA8qg_aem_64UuLlikpbWFGYlmEHwx6g (https://www.saac.com/49/SAAC49.pdf?fbclid=IwY2xjawEocypleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHdOkP7RJOmKXjcwYvyoZucDKjrreQ0eoqTXtfR7JMsYbwxLcPMtn0lA8qg_aem_64UuLlikpbWFGYlmEHwx6g)

I'm surprised Kopec did not mention the purchase (with fresh HiPo street longblock) and restoration (Show quality bodywork and paint along with Tony Nancy leather interior) of the Coupe by Jim Russell. He used it as a centerpiece for his Russkit slotcar business and sold it to Spector. Why do they keep trying to portray this car in "as raced" condition? It's current state reflects not racing patina but 30+ years of poor storage.
