Title: Convertible quarter trim upholstery application
Post by: Corey Bowcutt on May 07, 2024, 05:14:37 PM
I am about to recover the quarter trim panels for my 1964.5 convertible.  Has anyone done this and have tips.  Conceptually seems easy but am afraid the reality will be tricky.

It's been a long time since I've done them.  I remember making marks on the plastic where the stitched seams align and try to match it.  A little bit of heat helps.  I also remember using washers behind the new boot snaps to make them stronger.
