I am about to recover the quarter trim panels for my 1964.5 convertible. Has anyone done this and have tips. Conceptually seems easy but am afraid the reality will be tricky.

it is not bad but make sure the plastic panels are in good shape before you start i have had some brittle ones .
It's been a long time since I've done them. I remember making marks on the plastic where the stitched seams align and try to match it. A little bit of heat helps. I also remember using washers behind the new boot snaps to make them stronger.
