Title: 1967 GT500 transmission identification help
Post by: 1968GT500CS on May 06, 2024, 06:54:34 AM
Hello 1967 experts

Are 4 speeds, if from genuine 67 Shelby 500 marked in some way identified?
Vin? Etc

For that matter, the block is Scratched A, and that is date ranged prior to build date...correct?
Crank is what part number?
RUG-S is correct?
Thank you

Yes, RUG-S is correct. The last six characters (or is it four?) of the Ford VIN should be stamped on the boss of the main case just in front of the extension housing.
