Let me known if I missed any. When the live webcam link comes available, I will add it.
Thanks~~ ;D
Very gracious of you to provide this list
Thank you
Hark, doeth one hear the ever so faint echoes in the background of voices saying "You better get rid of that damn car. It's the car or me." and similar such ultimatums. Anyone gives me such an ultimatum (they didn't either from fear or some heretofore undisclosed reason) they are getting the boot. That's a lot of Shelbys on the chopping block. I might actually drive down to Indy and witness the sorrow.
Brian
thank you so much for making this list
seems to be lots of good cars, the red 427 cobra will be fun to watch
thanks again
So, it looks like Lot F147 is the 65 GT350 that Legendary had for sale at their Ontario location for the past year. It looks very nice and there was a great video of the restoration, but unfortunately they have removed it.
Anyone know what they were asking for the car when they were trying to sell it?
QSS
I found the video of the restoration of 525.

I'll be there. A friend is selling some cars also. #229 and #234.

come on down. I saw a LOT of Shelbys last year also. The SAAC Spring fling is just an hour south of there in beautiful Nashville Indiana at Brown county state park.

Yes maybe I will. My girlfriend lives in Indianapolis so I have a place to stay. I can't go for too long. Would have to find someone to watch my father here.
On some of the Mecum cars they will not disclose the VIN number unless you are registered to bid?! WTF? Really?...........
Is there going to be a memorabilia auction also? Any link if there is?
Roy
Added 5S205 to the list above.

Are you sure you have to be registered and not just have an account to see all the specifics? I can see vins and I'm not registered to bid. Which cars are in question so I can look?

Anyone here planning on attending Mecum this Friday or Saturday?
Thanks for the link. Doesn't show sold prices like before.
Roy
I will be at mecum, in Indianapolis, friday and Saturday

What do you want? Look at my pic. THe sold prices are there from yesterday's auction on some random cars I screenshot. You have to sign up to see. You don't have to be signed up to bid. So if you want to see the prices you need to log in. Gary

I'll be there Friday...
Thanks Brian. I'll be curious to see what happens with 6s2374. I guess EBay didn't pan out for his half million dollar car (as described on eBay)

too bad it is going off Saturday because I will be down there Friday only(Spring fling on Saturday). I'll still go over the car with a few other forum members on Friday though. Gary
If you get a chance share some more thoughts on it. I would like to get the opinion of someone who actually had eyes on it. Just for my own curiosity.
Sounds like it was a good for Orange cars!
Kind of interesting I am wrapping up 33 years of research on special paint cars this very day
More to follow
The 67 GT350 sold for 160k...not $176,500
The 176500 is with the auction fees added in
If you want with fees, it was $184,730.50
Quote from: jgroce1985 on May 17, 2024, 10:46:44 PMIf you want with fees, it was $184,730.50
So you're saying the fees amounted to almost $25,000?
Roy
Yep, auctions don't give cars away unfortunately. That's why some say the cars sell low when really they aren't by the time you add those fees...
It would really be nice if some of the Shelby folks who attended Mecum could post what
they saw regarding 6s2374 in person. I am sure there were quite a few knowledgeable Shelby people
there and some reasons why the bidding stopped at 75K. With the work needed maybe thats all its worth.
It really makes me believe that the BAT auction previously was a lot of fake bidding.
Plus it was the end of the auction. They should have ran her before all the other shelbys ..
