Can anyone tell me how the original 67 ten spoke finish was? Were they just machined finish on the lips or cleared? Just trying the best way to freshen them up and is it something I could duplicate myself.
Thank you
Dave
Machined and cleared

Even if you do, how do you apply it without fisheyes?

Thin coats has worked for me on a super clean wheel.

There is a fisheye eliminator product sold at auto paint stores, but repeated cleaning of the surfaces with wax and grease remover will usually do the job.
