Someone measure me the length and diameter of the rubber torsion bar bushing used on 65, 66 and early 67 trunk lid? Thanks
Measured two spiral cut wrapped version--both 18" on rod.
The center U-bracket version--1 1/8".
Virginia Mustang did sell them, just the rubber and the "full Kit", then just the full kit Part #ER-1741
See attached.
Also rubber on a rod.
rubber is 1-1/8 inch long x 9/16" OD/dia with 1/4" ID
Some (early metal & fiberglass deck lid cars got two rubber pieces, only one was captured under a metal bracket
Thank you gents. VA doesn't have anymore so I'm going to make some

Roll of rubber cord is 10 ft so thats what like 100?
10' x 12" = 120" divided by 1.125" = 106.66 pieces
(most rubber cord is solid, needs 1/4" ID hollow center - tubing)

Guess so if you want to go that far. You could be the 65-67 torsion bar rubber guy in addition to all your other titles ::)

Oh joy
Was looking for something else for someone else and saw this, in the Osborn Body book...
This was not typically on the all fiberglass Shelby deck lids, just the metal frame & fiberglass versions.
