Title: 2023 MCACN
Post by: 68blk500c on October 19, 2023, 09:27:54 AM
We are returning to MCACN this year with our black, Premiere, '68 GT500 convertible Division I car for their Best of 1968 feature.  It sounds like it will be a really strong presence this year for Fords.

Another historical Shelby "unveil" is rumored.  Who knows??

Looking forward to seeing folks there, along with some great cars.  Pack a bag and be there!

It's perhaps the best collection of Muscle Cars at any show
Can't make it this year, but maybe next year
Love black cars

I'll be traveling out there this year with a family member who is displaying a car in the Class of '68 Invitational. In terms of shows, this is definitely the highlight of my year personally. Looking forward to the strong Ford displays this year.

Only 13 miles away? Nice. I come from the Detroit area so it involves a few hotel nights and such but 1 staple is we always get Giordano's in Rosemont on Saturday night.

Might have to check out Giordano's.  So far we just have Gibson's on Friday night.

Giordano's has the best pizza in my opinion. many years ago we were in Universal studios in Orlando and in the room were pizza menus and one was Giordano's in Orlando. I thought NO WAY. I called up and asked if they were the same. The said yes and no. Same company but they said they were better than those in Chicago. Well lets say they didn't disappoint(both great). We have even ordered Giordano's delivered to our hotel at Disney world from their Kissimmee restaurant. When I found out there was one in Detroit I looked it up and it had closed(WTH??). So I have to settle on when I go to Chicago or Florida for it. We won't be in Rosemont until Saturday morning so no Friday dining there.

My friend has mentioned to me yesterday about  bringing his original paint calif car 69 Boss 429. Black Jade. One of the nicest originals around. He needs to contact Bob Ashton real quick if he is going to make it happen.
