Seems like the removable fastback top would deter unauthorized (and authorized) access to the trunk.
I never understood why the movie people felt the need to use a restomod mustang instead of an exact copy of a beautiful 67 Shelby.

I think they are Convertible Windows, which are different then Coupes.
