Not certain of the value given the artist background

I suspect some of his resume might not be present

Looking at the sellers current listings, and actual sales, it appears he is fishing with these vs the "alternative" lifestyle magazines he sells in volume.

That is not to say the artist was not talented, but I cannot find where anything he has drawn was a prototype commissioned by any auto manufacturers. A play on words to add a perceived value, perhaps, but still does not make it so just because we are reading it in an Ebay advertisement.

Certainly has similarities to the 71 Shelby drawings from the same time frame

All of his have that same type of feel, but all are done from a hobbyist standpoint. Beautiful work just the same.

And more along sportier lines than the stodgy 71 Cougar LM built.
Interesting the Cobra concept also had the coupe type roof - I guess they were looking at styling ways without using that big piece of glass.
I notice no Shelby badging. By the time this was built in 68 the powers to be knew the CS contract would run out in 70. This could be their first try at making a Cobra model Mustang. Prior there was only Cobra Jet engines in Mustangs.

These photos were taken before AOSmith declined the contract to build the 1970 models. That was probably the most significant event in canceling the Shelby program.

I'm fanatical about the 69/70 Shelbys, and have owned more than my fair share of 71-73 Mustang convertibles and Mach I's, yet I could never get behind this specific car if it had come to fruition.

I suspect it would have turned off potential owners more than the Future Mustang fiasco that thankfully turned the Probe into a stand alone, instead of a replacement for the Mustang line.

Nah, its great! Its just a styling design, they would have used the stock Mustang grille
