They just found me too, but my plate was clear as day. Cant really say its not me . ;D

You'd be amazed at what else they can read off your car as it passes through their gate system ;D
I heard that some of them monitor speed based on how soon you arrive at the next gate and issue a ticket accordingly.
I Have heard that as well but never knew anyone who actually was ticketed. I imagine they can read a vin electronically. so here is a theory I have heard: they know how much money a car has in it by the magnetic strips in the bills. rumor has it two young ladies who were smuggling cash for a drug cartel were pulled over with a large sum of Cash in each car. time to get a lead lined trunk if thats your game!!

Yes, "they" can tell, on average, how fast you were going by your entry and exit times through EZ Pass. In the case of the PA Turnpike, this isn't much different than the toll tickets that predated EZ Pass. They recorded entry and exit times as well. No, speeding citations are not issued based upon EZ Pass times.
