To us it's as ugly as the soon to be deceased Camaro  and Fudgy the whale Mopars

Ford has achieved the EPIC FAIL level of the game

They will receive the "2024 McFugly Award" for this styling exercise

After this car blinding numerous people already,  the authorities have decided to not wait until 2024 and have accelerated the infamous 3-H award Hideous- Horrible- Horrendous to the New Mustang !

They went on to say it truly was a battle if the uglies,  the Camaros and the Moparians where a very close second and third

But ultimately this Mule, they meant Mustang took it all

This buds for you !

What did he just say .......

New Mustang: Not curves, but scalene triangles.  Narrator: Not curves, but lumpy mashed potatoes.  She is in dire need of a diet coach not necessarily for looks but for her own health and longevity.  I see metabolic disfunction in need of correction.

"An incredible machine with 800+hp - I can't wait to get my hands on one and take it to the track! With its all-carbon-fiber body, 7-speed transaxle and mid-engine 50/50 weight distribution, the Mustang GTD is the result of fantastic engineering by Ford Performance. Can't wait to see how it performs at LeMans.. Ford Motor Company Ford Mustang:

AS I reconsider the styling, it appears to be attempting to mimic (or mock) a Porsche GT3 RS.

The only think it mimics is the PORSHAS price point

But at that price point its slower than the PORSHA (what a shame)

What the saying,  close (not even) but no cigar

Henry needs to find 20 suckers - er buyers - er influencers to plunk down their hard earned cash so they can run GT3 next year. Multimatic will be building the race cars. The GTDud will be the road going car. FIA GT3 was intended to be for "production" cars anyone could buy. Those that were competing were only building a few cars and only the factories were running them. FIA put in production numbers to assure it was not a series made up of prototypes.

A minimum production number required for GT3 race cars will be enforced, 10 units must be made within 12 months as from the homologation date, and 20 units within 24 months as from the homologation date.

There is also a cap of 300 road per year cars world wide

> Road model must be a two-door design.
> 300 road cars per year.
> 10 race car models a year for the first two years.
> Within an aerodynamic drag-to-downforce performance range.
> Approval from an FIA committee consisting of relevant race organization bodies and participating manufacturers.

Racing gt3 car must use same road chassis, the engine can be swapped with another motor of the same manufacturer provided it fits in the original engine bay of the chassis

Despite not being any big restrictions to aero, it's actually up to FIA decide if the car aero can fit for the homologation. Because of this, manufacturers design and produce cars with realistic weight and downforce values to pass the homologation.

I did hear a rumor that Ford did not invite and has denied the admittance of SA employees to the big GT3/GTD reveal. Those companies that have been invited had to submit a guest list. They were told they could not to bring SA people they had included on their list. Guess it will be an all Ford - Multimatic show.

I'm at the Pebble Beach Concours today and it is on display. Plus at The Quail on Friday.

Aside from the huge front fender vents, from 25 feet away it just looks like an aftermarket modded Mustang.

That's because it is. What I've seen of the trick suspension it uses all the stock pick up points. The big price comes because the mod shop (Multimatic) is using carbon fiber instead of cheapo fiberglass. You could build the body kit for well under $3000 in fiberglass. I want to see the crash test videos.

I think it's just competing contractors and not wanting to blur any lines.

I would like to see if SA will try to modify it for a "Limited Edition", maybe a "Super Duper Super Snake".

Only if some owner wants to step up with a car and money. Everything they do is post title - you own the car you contract for the mods you're on the hook with the EPA and DOT for any liability or emissions problems.
What could SA offer? Different tune? Wider fenders? Hood scoops? Bigger wing? Different wheel/tire combo? Stripes? With a potential market of only 300 parts development of anything better will be expensive on a per part basis.
But it does look like they are after the Eleanor market with gray metallic color.

So now ya'll got your kick ass car and you still complain....
My prediction is now that we already see many FGT's on BAT, wait a little while....many more to come. Which leads us to this: Was it really worth buying a FGT only to park it and not enjoy it?

You forget Ford chose influencers and not necessarily "car guys" to buy these. So it was 100% worth shelling out 400 grand to turn it into a million in 2 short years.
