Title: Fiberglass and body lines
Post by: azdriver on July 06, 2023, 06:22:56 PM
Looked at a 67 today in the showroom of a Ford dealer. It seemed all the gaps where fiberglass met the body were filled with black silicone. On a Lime Gold car it made quite a contrast. Is that the way they should be done? Would a 68 be similar?

No 1968 cars did not use a black sealant.

It was clear in 1968

67 Shelby's typically used clear silicone from the factory.
