We're there any ID markings, stamps on the end of a Hipo Ford Cam? A C3OZ-6250-C
There should be some letters between the lobes. I think UA=Hydraulic AE=Solid AEX=LeMans ??. Find those and see what you find out about it. If I remember Ford also marked different grinds with a paint code.
Randy, Randy Wherefore art thou?
There will be an "AE" with an upside down "A" cast just in front of the 1st lobe. Also typically has orange paint toward the front as well.
Hopefully someone will have a good photo, I don't have one handy at the moment...
Pictures are from a Dealers binder I have.

Here are some hipo camshaft pics.
1st original hipo cam with the AE with the A upside down.
2nd 2 cams, top original, bottom 1980s Ford service replacement. Both show orange towards distributor drive gear.
3rd 1980s Ford service hipo cam shows a K104 stamping instead of the AE.
4th. Pic when I was comparing the 2 cams. The original AE cam shows alot of casting flash in between lobes, where service cam does not.
Both hipo cams produced same specs when processed on Cam Dr.
Here's what I've found, it shows Pink at the distributor drive gear end the opposite end with an cast A and stamped BF I think
