Title: Painted Magnum Paint Code?
Post by: mtdubvee on June 09, 2023, 01:08:45 PM
Does anyone have a paint formula for a painted magnum wheel. I'm just looking for a paint code or formula. I know it's a flat grey but anyone has a formula or code that's worked for them I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Matt

There use to be some paint codes in the back of the SAAC Registry's, not close to one to check - maybe some has one handy...

This has been an ongoing quest.  Others have posted as well.  A few have figured it out, but unfortunately have not shared in a public forum.  I'm not sure why.  It possible, they mixed and added so much other paints, they no longer had a formula.   I hope that someone can step up and help.

I have a good buddy that owned a paint shop.  He spent hours trying to match an original wheel, but was futile in the end.  The one issue might be, there are very tiny black specs of paint on the wheel, from over spray from painting the recesses.  This might be part of the problem in trying to analyze the paint.

Best of luck

Cory
