Any KRs, 69/70 GT500s or prototypes going to be there? (And their owners of course)😊😀😉
I am bringing the only 2 drag pack w-code verts known my loaded 69 gt500 special order paint (purple) shelby vert & the 70 shaker orange (brass tag) loaded mustang & they will be together in the big tent.
I'm planing on being with 3760.
Is there anyone else attending?
Truly - what I wouldn't give to be there! These are such special cars, and I would LOVE to own one (who wouldn't?)!
Last call. Who's going to be there?
I will be there with 02267

Myself and Xcoils will be there on Saturday. I'm parking cars with the Northcoast Mustang & Ford Club. Will have a club blue shirt on and my yellow GT500 hat. Stop and say hi.
I will be there Friday and Saturday. Hanging out with Bruce Sizemore , one of the retired Ford engineers invited to the Q&A sessions. Please say HI !!!

Bruce Sizemore, the guy who destroyed the H/MP records with his Maverick, "Preparation H", Faster than many v8's, I heard he snipped some tin off of the firewall flange and NHRA called it a "Altered firewall" and wouldn't let him compete in Modified Production, instead I heard they wanted him to go into the Gasser or Altered Class. It was a great car to watch, should have gotten a lot more recognition for the amount of engineering that went into that car. Does the car still exist?
The 560 mile Trek has begun. See you all there. I also brought along that 289 427 Cobra bill of materials & price list I have for anyone who would like to see it.
I will make the 80 mile drive tomorrow.

Yes it does though it is in rough shape and WAY overpriced according to Bruce who has tracked it down. His later Don Hardy Pinto ( with the six piece Boss 302 head) has yet to be found but is likely out there as a Super Gas car . LOL Bruce also created ( with help but NO Ford knowledge) the "Canadian heads" for the 428 CJ. Adding a pair dropped the ET by three tenths of a second on the BEST performing factory cars. Bruce was a "go to" guy at Ford and well liked by all of his co workers. It will be great hanging out with him and a real honor.

PLEASE say HI. This will be a rare opportunity to meet each other. Scott from the 428CJ forum is going to provide name stickers to help. I think I am getting some form of badge with my name on it as I am Bruce's guest for this event. I am bringing lots of intra company Ford memos and my "infamous" experimental parts books and other cool stuff. I will also have pictures of my '66 Hertz drag racer. I should be at the event by 10 am as long as Bruce doesn't make a wrong turn on the way there from the hotel!
