Well done video. Points out the advantage of EV - full torque from 0 RPM.

                                                World Class C8

The Corvette E-Ray combines the Z06's wide body with the base Stingray's 6.2-liter LS2 V-8 and a front-mounted, 160-hp electric motor. Launches are now wheelspin-free and no-drama as the E-Ray rockets from 0-60 in just 2.4 seconds — making this the quickest Corvette in history. :)

I remember the days when it took a GREAT DRIVER to get the absolute most out of a performance car.

If you proved to be one, that was a badge of honor.

Now, any 5 year old who can reach the pedal (not even "pedals") can do it.  And everybody gets a badge!

I want to go home again...to the 1960s, where automotive things made sense. And you proved yourself on the street and track.

Headline should be "Corvette imitates Mustang leaving C&C". The guy needs to go back to math class - where I was sitting it looks like 270 fegrees.

100% correct. I'd say anyone who wasn't in high school pre 1970 has no clue how much fun cars were - and unforgiving.
Just watching the current generation when they switch off traction control has seemed to have launched it's own YouTube crash section. Can you imagine the insurance rates today for a male under 25 in a 400+ horsepower 4 spd car without ABS and traction control?

True.  Back then we didn't have video cameras, Facebook and Tik-Tok to show how stupid we could be sometimes with our unforgiving power toys.  I feel it is amazing how so many of us survived some our adventures.   8)

I agree with you all it's a "just add water easy bake cake" but man what an affordable American class act car that has ALL the foreign powers on their heels.

And truly what modern car today doesn't fall into this new "easy bake" category maybe a Indian Tata ?

I think its something to be proud of today "America"

By the way I agree with this guys post....oh heck that's me !

I hope we figure out time travel.  That is where I am headed too!

If I ever get to time-travel to the 1960s, I'm not coming back!  I'll enjoy the Shelby cars (and the gorgeous un-tatted women) right there.
