Title: Need help identifying this steering wheel.
Post by: mtdubvee on February 07, 2023, 09:20:54 PM
I'm trying to identify this steering wheel. It doesn't say Made in Italy on the back. Has anyone ever seen this and can help me identify it correctly.

Thanks pics attached.

Hi Mtdubvee,

When I look at your steering wheel, I notice it does not have turn signal cancel pins and the horn contacts appear to be flush with the backside of outer hub.  These two features are consistent with the 1967 wood steering wheel that came on the 1967 GT350's and GT500's.  The absent "MADE IN ITALY"  could be an error in the manufacturing of the wheel and/or is absent from many 1967 wheels.  Other than that, it looks very much like the one in the attached image, original wood wheel.

Let's see what others say.

Looks like they simply forgot the export markings.

Yes it does. They just didn't stamp it.
