It is my car, if you are a potential serious bidder and have any questions please send me a PM. Thanks
Very rare car. My favorite non Shelby Mustang.
Great car. Pretty sure the 67 K's made less than .002 of total production in 1967
The color combo is terrific
Love it. Any estimate?
awesome car
I'm liking the dark green with parchment interior 8)
She's a beaut, Clark.
Very nice 67 HiPo. Good luck with the sale.
Thanks all.
It's the only 67 K code 4spd Fastback made in dark moss with parchment deluxe.
For all the Mustangs I've had over the last 30 years it's the nicest. It's too nice for me to enjoy the way I like to!
Great looking car-what shop did the work. In discussing this with another reputable shop owner, the question arose-will it bring enough to cover the seller's restoration cost-including his/her time?
The car was restored between 2006-2012 under prior ownership.
It looks like it was just finished yesterday.
It's lived a super pampered life since then, never seen rain.
Sold for $173,250 — I think that's before auction fees.

Hammer was $157,500. 2 phone bidders fought over it at the end. Tons of interest in it. So many people came outta the woodwork the day off.
Mecum site says phone bidders pay 12% but it looks like the winner may have negotiated the standard 10%.
All the website sold prices include the fees. I think the No sales don't include the fees

I owned one several years ago and found out very quickly how most people know nothing about these very rare and cool cars (IMHO). Congratulations to the seller and buyer.
Is that an all time high price for a '67 Mustang (non Shelby or famous race car?)
I inspected that car at mecum for a buyer in texas who bought it and would like to talk to owner. I put alot of value in that rare car mainly because of all the desirable options and a good restoration.
A non-critical observation on the car itself b/c I'm sure it was flawless: I doubt the hammer price covered the initial purchase, resto and auction prep. The car will now continue to sit-for the most part that is-unused. Good for the buyer. Good for the hobby? I suppose, but only as an investment. Wondering what the equity position might be today.
I watched some amount of the auction every day. That was by far my favorite car this year. Just a perfect combination.
I missed the auction live and have been looking online for the video with no luck. Certainly a beautiful car and I feel the purchase price is representative of the rarity. I have a 67 K code GT fastback in Acapulco Blue with Black deluxe interior , both consoles, and non fold down. Very nice accident free been sitting since early 80's. Its another project car of mine I hope to get to one day this auction got my interest going again.
I purchased this car (with the help of Ed's inspection). I was registered to attend the auction in person and tested positive for COVID on Tuesday...Ed was able to see the car right before it crossed the block.
I still haven't seen the car in person and am very excited to take delivery. Still waiting on MECUM transportation to schedule transport...
I'm looking forward to being the next custodian and will do my best to keep the car in pristine condition. Rest assured, however, that it will not be locked up in storage. I plan to drive it on a regular basis just like I do with my other cars. They are meant to be driven, enjoyed and shared...in my opinion. (Shelby #798 at the office last week)
Looking forward to learning more about the ownership history from seller.
