Not sure if this is old news, but I noticed that Coke used some footage of a comp Cobra in one of their ads from around 1967.

Some nice shots of Jim Hall and his Chapparral.

You can view the vid over on YouTube. Look for "1967: Our Lives Through Commercials". The Coke ad begins around the 2:21 mark.
