Lots of easy fixes could improve the presentation.

I'm curious about the easy fixes as well. I noticed a few things as well. It's been hovering at $70k but can't imagine it ending that low.
I would say most people work under the guidelines that the most original cars sell for the highest prices.
That is not always true, however removing the aftermarket parts on this car and replacing them with original parts, might be a step in the right direction.
There are also a few items that are not easily fixed on this car. Additionally the color choices might also hurt the bottom line.
Good Luck!
stunning car
Surprised that someone would go through the trouble of changing out the interior and top. Those changes are probably gonna hold it back and bit I would guess.

I agree with you. I never will understand how you can restore the car to your own color preference and not go back original but to each his own

Its called a personal preference. We all have them. I prefer late model Chevies over Fords. Maybe you don't understand that also. Here are 2 Shelbys I color changed the 70 being a very rare drag pack 4 speed car.
^^^ I dig the '68, black with red stripes. Badazz.

Thanks. I got the red stripe idea from the cover of SAAC 1997(or 1987) outer cover as there was a black 67 with red side stripes on it. I think it was one of my favorite cars looks wise. Always thumbs up. Original highland green car painted and wet sanded when I bought it. For the record I know I got more for it than if it was a highland green car.
