Can anyone tell me where to locate the bolts and nuts to attach the rear lower corner of the front fenders on My '67 GT500? Car is undergoing a repaint and front fenders are off and there were no correct bolts and nuts to attach them. Are the nuts a "cage" nut as shown in the AMK catalog? Anyone have a quick pictures of how this should look?
Thanks for the help.
Yes the square "cage" nuts were used in the rocker panel on both sides of the car. "arms" or "ears" are fore and aft inline with the rocker panel length
Your likely not going to find the correct bolts for the application if your going show in some catalog if your just wanting to get them over the internet with a credit card. You don't provide what head markings are on your other fender bolts but you would be looking to match those. Hopefully those are correct to the car and its production period
And a picture of the cage nut and orientation
Hope this helps

The Fomoco part number is 359613-S2 with S2 being the original finish code (phoosphate & oil). They are 5/16" - 18 like all the other fender attachments. You can buy any number of them here:

OK, thanks to Jeff and Royce. This forum is awesome for stuff like this.
