Does anyone know what gauge wire was used to wire the tachometer to the coil? Thanks

A suggestion for you, when you put in this wire to the negative side of the coil, add an in-line 2A fuse
under the pod to protect the Tach from surges. Guess how I know? Very expensive lesson.

+1 . A excellent idea . It would be bad enough to short out a 500.00 dollar repro tach  but a major set back with a 5K plus genuine tach.
