Title: Changing rear interior bulb on 67 GT500
Post by: bullitt1939 on September 10, 2022, 09:08:37 PM
How does the assembly come down? Does it snap out? I noticed it wasn't working today so need to check the bulb. Just not sure how it comes out since it is behind the lens.

Snaps right out. Insert a nylon slim tool between the light body and panel and carefully pry the body from the rear trim panel

All there is to it. When installing, clock the assembly so the light shines downward and give is a slight but firm push and it will seat right in

Same for all the Shelby fastbacks and some early 69 convertibles

Got it just like you said. Thanks for the help. I would rather ask before breaking something unnecessarily. All is good just a burnt bulb.
