Looking for pictures of an original taillight harness. Looking for the end area of cloth wrapping, does it end prior to going across the taillight panel or does it continue to the other side?

The weaved mesh transitions to being covered with a friction type tape at about the tail ight panel . It is after where the harness for the marker lights in the quarters typically.
