Title: 67 vs 68 window regulators

How can you visually tell a 67 window regulator from 68?

67 regulators have the longer shaft for the handles.

Yes I understand that. Hard to tell length looking at ebay pictures.  It seems like you can tell visually by the 68 spline goes all the way to the end and 67 has added extra (maybe 1/4-3/8") after the spline

Once you see the difference you will know at a glance. The pictures posted here show it. Hard to not see the difference.

On one of the rivets on originals is usually a date stamp, like 8C, 8E...
