I am missing one piece of the trap door trim and am hoping that someone has an piece to sell me. Please view the attachment and see if you can help. thanks
Are you sure you need one?
???
I should ask the question, did the 69 have this item installed on the trap door? My car came literally in bins, buckets, totes and loose pieces. All that I know is after getting the rest of the trap door assembly put together, using the pictures of replace parts from Branda's catalog (P/N FDP25), it show this piece as part of the set. Did I assume wrong and this piece is not part of the trap door on a 69? If I don't need it, then I am good to go. This is why I love this forum. Plenty of great experts to help guide me through this process.
The 68s did not use it, but Im not sure on the 1969s.
I am leaning towards no

Your memory is better then you think. No 69's didn't use it.
Thank you Mr Gaines! Now comes the hard part -staples
I think its been answered above already,
but that chrome piece is actually on the the last of the 3 pieces of the fold down back (rear sport seat) seat assembly not the trap door
The carpet was just wrapped around this entire back edge and stapled to the back edge of the panel, you will still use the trap door catch that is installed at the center back of this flat panel
an original 69 . Last pic was my 68 to show the trim better(same as 69).
