Hi --- does anybody have and is willing to share good photos describing black out around turn front turn signal on 69 Shelby--thank you
Pretty easy request since I still have them loaded for posting elsewhere

Masking pattern for reproducing the black out. Originally they would have just used maskign tape so the edge would not be as sharp as these turned out

Hope this helps
Likely have more but this should get you there
AO Smith used the black out line on the bezels as the basis for the black out line on the valance. Because the bezel was blacked out with just the leading edge chrome when the valence was blacked it made all but the chrome disappear. There were slight variations from car to car but basically if you drew a imaginary line from the edge of the black out on the bezel over to the valance that is where you want your masking line.
THANK YOU
The top side of the valance panel & top side of fender bottoms was blacked out at the same time the area around the signal lites were up to the hole where the side marker lite is also.
Desperate for another detail---lower front valance? we black out turn indicator pockets, how about back site of valance , do we paint body color and black it out or is it painted black on primed fiberglass ---thank haven car is almost finished---thanks for helping out---picture is 1000 words, slightly unsure around turn signal packets
