Title: What should I use to treat my original 67 steering wheel?
Post by: Jbrooks on May 27, 2018, 08:41:25 PM
I tried searching for this, but couldn't find it in the forum.  What do you guys use to treat your original steering wheels?  Thanks for any input on this, as my steering wheel is looking dried out.

Probably depends on the finish on it...I refinished mine with gun stock oil,so I use gun stock wax..

I use respect and hold it in a special place.

The Tru oil is actually what you use to refinish ...You use the gun stock wax(also ny birch wood Casey) to maintain the finish...

Thank you everyone. The Tru oil worked great. I'll look into the stock wax.
