Title: GT500 water pump bolts
Post by: 430dragpack on June 17, 2022, 12:35:29 PM
Which set (or combination of) these bolts is correct?  The top row is what is called out in the '67 Ford MPC.  The bottom row is what is typically seen on 68/69 FE engines and wondering if '67 was possibly the same.  Also, the three like bolts in the bottom row are not what is called out in the '70 MPC, but is what seems to have come from the factory.

The bottom row . I can't tell from the picture for sure but the three should be all the same and the single is a generic hardware store style.

Thanks Bob!  Yes, the three in the bottom row are the same and the single without a washer is the special one with the pellet in it because it is supposed to go in the lower right (passenger side) hole that goes into water.
