Factory 1968 consoles do have different side cuts on there panels, but I have seen no indication the factory actually matched them to the specifIc bodystyles.

Hopefully more will add to the conversation

I've probably done 40 or 50 consuls over the years and have seen some variations in the cut outs but they're not specific to the body style
Only differences are black or saddle and automatic versus four-speed

Thanks Pete and Tim. My 68 had a repo console from Branda and said "Fastback" on the box. I know this discussion was had on the VMF/68 Shelby back in the 2000s. I wonder why Branda still sells 8 different consoles with all diff part numbers? 4 vert/ 4 FB Gary
