Title: Hood hinge stamped SKD

65-66 original type hood hinges stamped SKD and not a date?
Anyone figure out how,what or why ?

Yeah both my sets on both cars are like that from memory. One side has date stamp, one side doesn't

Yes have seen this marking. Think it relates to the maker of a reproduction hood hinge. Don't have any pictures because of that belief/thought.  Possibly a Scott Drake item

Both of my hood hinges are date coded. Neither of them has a SKD on them.

Driver's    OB3  2-2   March 2nd, 2nd shift
Passenger   OB3 3-3   March 3rd, 3rd shift

I'll check again. Maybe only one has SKD
