I think this is for a 65-66 toploader. Any other opinions on it? Thanks for the help.
One last pic
What are the engineering numbers stamped into the rods?
Looks like a t-10 rods to me.I think toploader and t-10 shifter box is the same. If no one chimes in I will dig out some pics of what I have or google it. Tons of clear pics to view.

Looks like 65-67(68?) small block Mustang/Cougar toploader. In the 68 model year, I believe the spacing between the two bolts that hold the chrome handle to the shifter box changed. The 67(possibly 68)big block shifter box has a different reverse lever in it, consequently a different reverse rod as well.
Top loader for sure . T10 levers were tapered and the reverse rod was much shorter than the other two a reverse is in the tail shaft housing.
The Master Parts Catalog says that part was used from April 1964 until January 1968. The later '68 version has the larger shifter ball threads and the round pull up ring for reverse. I agree with what you are saying for application.

68 changed mid year because of the larger 2" shift lever mount
Thanks all!!
