Title: Pinion snubber

Which style is correct for 3/68 GT500?

It should have the four sided pointy one mounted on the bracket on the axle housing. Like this one. Note - the bracket would not have been painted, it was bare steel.

Just trying to nail down the "early" part of the equation. I have to assume March is not early.
